Middlemount Boxing and Fitness, Annual Fight Night
Middlemount Boxing & Fitness for a successful night of community and sport. Showcasing our local talent, sportsmanship and athleticism the event had 15 fights on the card with clubs attending from throughout the Queensland Region. As always Darren, Peta and their team worked tirelessly and put in a huge effort to make the night a huge success, a great club with lots of members who volunteer their time and energy to ensure it continues to grow and be a place for the community to come together.
The atmosphere was buzzing, the boxers were very gracious in their win or defeat and the crowd loved every bout from Pee Wees to adults. The night included an auction of boxing memorabilia and was attended by hundreds of viewers and supporters. Catering provided by local club MCSA (Middlemount Community Sports Association), Bar attended by the gun club, Cox and Davidson Family, the MC, Chopper, again made the night, fellow Chopper, Dr Chris Fenton in completed the officials table. A small army of locals volunteered to help run the night, not to mention the massive set up and then pack down and clean up of the community hall.
