Family focused celebrations for Marc and Aroon.

Celebrating with all of your favourite people around you is always special, hosting a wedding at home makes it even more so. This was my first wedding since moving to Townsville and my first ever back yard wedding - Marc and Aroon, with the help of family transformed their backyard into an epic venue, with white marquees, festoon lighting and the most amazing hand made floral table decorations I have ever seen. To top it all off their property backs onto Bluewater Creek, which at this time of year is flowing gently enough to be able to wade through ankle deep water onto sand bars - it was a beautiful backdrop for the bridal party portraits and for the new Mr & Mrs to take a moment for themselves, before returning to their guests and start the party.

The ceremony was down by the creek, the NQ warm winter sunshine was out, Marc and Aroon and their three girls all looked amazing - being surrounded by their family and friends, there was a genuine buzz in the atmosphere. The location will now always hold extra meaning for the family (and their guests); the kids played hard, adults mingled and everyone commented on how a backyard wedding really was the best idea!
